The Milenco MGI Wedge Level XL is a pair of drive-on levelling ramps for correcting a caravan or motorhome's pitch on uneven ground.

A conventional wedge, done properly

It uses a standard wedge profile rather than a stepped design, with a high-grip surface and a high-grip leading edge, so there's no need for separate gripper plates when driving on. The extra-wide footprint helps spread the vehicle's weight on softer ground such as grass or gravel.

Size and capacity

Each ramp measures approximately 66 x 21.5 x 15cm and weighs around 2.1kg, with a stated capacity of 1000kg per wheel — enough for motorhomes up to 4000kg (using a ramp on each side of a single axle) or caravans up to 2000kg. They're lightweight but strong, and easy to hose down after use.

What's included and what isn't

The pack contains two ramps; chocks aren't included, though Milenco sells compatible extra-wide chocks with a side handle separately for additional restraint once you're level.

Using them safely

Place the ramps on firm, stable ground and drive on slowly, selecting the height that levels the vehicle before applying the parking brake. For long stops or on a slope, add a separate wheel chock on the downhill side. They're not designed as a jack and shouldn't be used for bridging gaps.
