Spring Maintenance Guide for Your Toasters

Small kitchen appliances get used constantly through the season, and a caravan toaster is no exception. The Milenco Swiss Luxx White Toaster is a 2-slice, low-wattage (700W) toaster built for hook-up use, with Defrost, Reheat and Cancel functions and a variable browning control.

Spring clean before the season

Empty and clean the slide-out crumb tray thoroughly — crumbs left over winter can attract damp and, in a worst case, become a fire risk once the toaster is back in regular use. Check the cool-touch body and cord for any visible damage before plugging in for the first time this year.

Using it safely on site

On campsites, connect it to an RCD-protected supply, and avoid running it alongside other high-draw appliances at the same time, since combined they can trip a pitch's supply. Place it on a flat, heat-resistant surface with clear airflow around it, and keep emptying that crumb tray regularly through the season.
