Spring Maintenance Guide for Your Levels

A good set of levels earns its place in the locker by making pitching quick and stress-free, but only if the tread and base are still in good condition. The Milenco Triple Level is a 3-step leveller with a lattice, high-grip tread that pockets the wheel at each step, so there's no need for separate chocks.

Checking them before use

Inspect the tread for wear or cracking, particularly around the high-grip leading edge that prevents slippage as you drive on. Check the solid base hasn't been damaged in storage, since this is what resists sinking on soft ground or sand.

Specifications worth knowing

The Triple measures around 61cm long, 24.5cm wide and 18cm tall, with step heights of 4cm, 8cm and 12cm, and weighs 2.5kg. It's rated to 1500kg per wheel, working out to roughly 6000kg for a motorhome or 3000kg for a caravan in total.

It comes with its own carry bag, which is worth using for storage between trips — keeping the levels together and protected makes them easier to find and less likely to pick up damage in a cluttered locker.
