The Milenco Remote Alarm is a 12V wireless alarm for vans, caravans and motorhomes, designed to give a fast response to unwanted movement or impact.

Installation

Built to automotive standards, the alarm is simple to fit — connect two wires to a 12V negative-earth power source — and is controlled by the supplied wireless remote. Milenco recommends professional installation if you're not confident working with vehicle electrics.

How it works

Fitted in a van's cargo area or a caravan's habitation area, the alarm responds to motion or impact. It also includes a Panic Mode: holding the lock button for five seconds triggers an ultra-loud siren for 30 seconds with a flashing LED, useful for drawing attention in an emergency.

Remote security

The wireless remote uses code-hopping technology, generating a new rolling code every time it's pressed, designed to defeat code-grabbing attacks that target older, fixed-code remotes.
