Fit

Why it's larger

The Grand Aero 3 XXL has a wider field of view than Milenco's standard Aero mirrors, making it suited to large or wide caravans. Its arm is approximately 41cm long, compared with the standard Aero arm of around 31cm, letting you see both the top and bottom edges of your caravan so you can spot hazards such as low branches, sign posts and tight roadside obstructions.

Build

The aerodynamic mirror head has been tested at speeds of up to 220km/h for stability and a clear rearward view. Stainless steel screws turn in brass inserts to resist corrosion, and the mirror surface is chrome safety glass, chosen not to discolour or degrade over time.

What to know before you buy

The larger head and extended arm are designed to give a clear, wide view, though some light movement can still occur on rough roads or in strong winds. This is normal for extended towing mirrors and shouldn't affect visibility once the mirror is correctly fitted and aligned; even tightening of the clamps gives the best results.
