Essential Maintenance Tips for Levels

Heavy Duty Alko 3004 Hitchlock SCM/SOLD SECURE

The Milenco Triple Level needs very little upkeep, but a few checks will keep it performing as designed and help it last for seasons of regular touring.

Positioning on site

Even with a solid base designed to resist sinking, always set the level on the firmest ground available and drive on slowly, watching that the wheel settles properly into each pocketed step.

Check the tread

The high-grip leading edge and lattice tread are what give slip-free traction as you drive on, so inspect them periodically for cracking, splitting or embedded grit that could reduce grip.

Respect the weight rating

Each level is rated to 1500kg per wheel, covering motorhomes up to 6000kg and caravans up to 3000kg. Check this against your vehicle's actual weight rather than assuming, particularly if you tour in a larger motorhome.

Storage between trips

Use the supplied carry bag to keep the pair together and protect the tread when not in use, and store them somewhere dry to avoid the base picking up trapped moisture or debris.
