Getting your caravan's noseweight right matters for safe, stable towing, and the Milenco Precision Calibrated Noseweight Gauge is built to make that measurement genuinely reliable rather than a rough guess.
Milenco says this is the only noseweight gauge approved and calibrated to British Standard BS7961, measuring up to 130kg with ±2kg accuracy under that standard. According to Milenco, generic gauges can drift by as much as 30kg over time, while this gauge is built from hard-wearing materials designed to hold its calibration even after 1000 uses.
The gauge is built to the same working height as a caravan A-frame, so there's no need to prop it up on blocks before you take a reading — you simply position it, lower the hitch onto it, and read the large, clear scale.
Load the caravan as you would for actual travel and park on level ground, position the gauge under the hitch at A-frame height, then lower the coupling onto the gauge and read the noseweight directly. From there you can adjust your loading to suit your tow vehicle and hitch limits.
If you've previously relied on a cheaper, uncalibrated gauge — or none at all — the BS7961 approval and long-term calibration stability make this a straightforward way to check your setup is genuinely within safe limits, trip after trip, rather than hoping an old spring gauge is still reading accurately.
