A hitchlock is one of the most established physical deterrents, and the Milenco Super Heavy Duty Winterhoff Hitchlock (WS3000, SKU 4510) is built for serious resistance.

Build and security rating

It's constructed from 4mm heavy-duty steel and uses what Milenco describes as its strongest high-security lock cylinder. That construction is independently backed by three separate approvals: SCM MP03, Sold Secure Gold, and the Swedish SSF standard — a combination that goes beyond most standard hitchlocks.

Compatibility

This lock is designed specifically for Winterhoff WS3000 hitches from 2002 onwards, without a side lever. Check your hitch matches this before ordering, since hitchlocks are hitch-specific rather than universal.

Using it

The lock can be fitted whether the caravan is hitched or unhitched, but it must not be used on the hitch while actually towing. It comes supplied with a security ball, a carry case, and three stainless-steel keys.
