How the BC Lock works

The BC Lock works by encasing and locking the pedals of the vehicle, rendering them inoperative. Depending on the version, that means the brake and clutch pedals on a manual vehicle, the brake and accelerator on an automatic, or the brake pedal alone on certain Ford Transit and Mercedes Sprinter automatics. With the relevant pedals locked, the vehicle simply can't be driven away.
