This version is built for Knott Stabiliser heads KS30 and KS35. It's made from 4mm heavy-duty steel with Milenco's strongest high-security cylinder for this class, and holds Sold Secure Gold, SBSC SSF and SCM MP03 approvals. It comes with a security ball, carry case and three stainless-steel keys, and can be fitted hitched or unhitched (not while towing).

This sister product uses the same 4mm super heavy-duty steel and the same class-leading cylinder, but is shaped for Knott Avonride couplings instead. Its approvals are slightly different — Sold Secure Gold and Police Recommended — and it's supplied with the same security ball, carry case and three stainless-steel keys.

Which one do you need?

The security build quality is comparable across both locks, so the real decision is compatibility rather than performance: check the shape and model markings on your stabiliser head before ordering, since a KS30/35 lock won't fit an Avonride coupling and vice versa. If you're not sure which type you have, your caravan's handbook or a close look at the coupling head itself should confirm it — the two designs are visibly different where the lock body sits.

Whichever version matches your hitch, both are supplied with the accessories needed to fit and use them straight away, and both come with the reminder that there are no master keys, so recording your key number is worth doing on day one.
