Comparing Aero Adjustable Blind Spot Mirror vs Aero Platinum Mirror Clamps: Which is Right for You?

Aero Adjustable Blind Spot Mirror

The Aero Adjustable Blind Spot Mirror is a class 4 and 5 blind spot / wide-angle / close-proximity mirror that clips onto an existing Aero-style towing mirror, using the same clamping system in a permanent form.

What problem it solves

When towing a caravan, many drivers find a secondary blind spot alongside the caravan's wall, especially when overtaking or changing lanes. This mirror gives an extra viewing angle to help monitor traffic that would otherwise sit out of sight of your main towing mirrors.

Compatibility

It's designed to work with Milenco Aero, Aero 4, Grand Aero and Aero Platinum towing mirrors, clamping onto the existing Aero mirror head and angling to remove blind spots when towing. It conforms to directive EC 2003/97 and UN 46.02, and is available with convex glass only.

Fitting and adjusting

Clip it securely onto the mirror head, angle it outward to view the secondary blind spot, then re-check the tightness after the first few miles of towing and adjust again once the caravan is hitched, for the best line of sight.

What to know before buying

This is an add-on accessory rather than a replacement mirror head — it improves visibility but won't eliminate every blind spot, and correct positioning is important for it to work well.
