XLV Door Locks

XLV stands for Extra Large Van — these locks extend further across the door and into the frame than standard high security locks, giving more resistance to jemmying, spreading and tool attack on larger habitation and van doors.

The extended lock body and through-bolt fixings distribute attack forces across a bigger area of the door skin, making it significantly harder to prise or lever open. Internal reinforcement plates are included where applicable to finish the installation properly.

XLV Locks are available for the common larger vans and motorhome bases, and are a genuine step up for owners who've already fitted standard high-security locks and want more. They're also a go-to for users carrying high-value kit that warrants insurance-grade security.

Installation requires basic DIY skills or a friendly local workshop; Milenco provides templates and instructions per fitment. Once installed, the XLV lock blends cleanly into the door line and works smoothly on a dedicated key.
