Thermal Blinds

Thermal blinds sit outside the windscreen and side windows of a motorhome (or cover habitation windows in a caravan) and work by trapping a layer of still air between the blind and the glass — which does more for temperature control than almost any other single upgrade.

In summer they block solar gain through big panoramic windscreens, keeping the cab area noticeably cooler overnight and reducing the load on any air conditioning. In winter they hold heat in and cut the morning condensation that otherwise forms on cold glass.
