For easiest upkeep, fit the ring-terminal lead to the battery and plug the charger in when parked.
Match polarity (red = +, black = -) and ensure good ventilation while charging.
For long storage, you can leave OptiMate 6 connected; it will maintain safely and test the battery periodically.
