The Grand Aero 3 XXL Towing Mirror is designed to fit most modern cars, 4x4s and vans. It uses Milenco’s patented clamping system, which adjusts to a wide range of mirror housings, including those with compound tapered flanges. The Grand Aero 3 XXL provides a wider field of view than the standard Aero mirrors, making it well suited to large or wide caravans. The extra long arm is approximately 41 centimetres in length, compared with the standard Aero arm of 31 centimetres, allowing you to see both the top and bottom edges of your caravan. This helps you identify hazards such as low branches, sign posts and tight roadside obstructions.
The aerodynamic mirror head has been tested at speeds of up to 220 kilometres per hour to ensure stability and clear rearward visibility. Materials are chosen for strength and durability, including high grade stainless steel screws that turn in brass inserts, preventing corrosion over time. The mirror surface is chrome safety glass, which does not discolour or degrade.
The larger mirror head and extended arm provide excellent visibility, although some light movement may still occur on rough roads or in strong winds. This is normal for extended towing mirrors and does not affect visibility when fitted correctly. Proper alignment and even tightening of the clamps will provide the best performance.
This product complies with international safety standards and exceeds all legal requirements in every EU member state. It is suitable for use on vehicles where the caravan is wider than the car, helping drivers meet legal towing visibility requirements.
