The Aero Platinum Mirror Clamps is a spare or replacement clamp for Milenco's Aero Platinum towing mirror, not a security product — it's the load-bearing part that holds the mirror arm onto your vehicle's door mirror.

What the Platinum clamp does

The Platinum clamp system was developed to grip the tapered, aerodynamic mirror bezels common on newer vehicles. Its gripper plates are sprung and rubber-faced so they mould to the shape of the mirror housing, and the clamp has enough depth to accept mirror bezels up to 25 millimetres thick. Key load-bearing points use stainless steel and brass to resist corrosion over time.

When you'd need this

If your existing Aero Platinum mirror's clamp has become damaged, loose or worn to the point it no longer grips securely, this lets you replace just that component rather than the whole mirror.

Fitting and compatibility

Fitting is straightforward: unscrew the old clamp and install the new one in its place. One important compatibility note from Milenco — this clamp is not interchangeable with the Aero 3 mirror, so check which mirror generation you have (product code 6651) before ordering.
