If your caravan is significantly wider than your car, simply having a towing mirror often isn't enough — you need one with enough reach to see past the width of what you're towing. UK law requires an adequate view down both sides when towing a wider trailer or caravan, and this Aero 4 Extra Wide XXL Twin Pack is built with that situation in mind.

What makes it "extra wide"

This is the same mirror as the standard Aero 4 and Grand Aero 4, but with a longer arm — approximately 41cm compared with the standard Aero arm of 31cm. The extra reach gives a better field of view when you have a narrow car towing a wide caravan, letting the mirror clear the caravan's bodywork properly rather than looking straight into its side.

Fitment

It uses the universal Aero 4 clamping system and is designed to fit most cars, SUVs and vans. If your vehicle has curved or tapered mirror housings, Milenco recommend fitting the Aero Pads (4300) for a more secure grip. What to expect on the road

Because the mirror head is larger, some slight movement can occur on rough roads or in strong crosswinds — this is normal for an extended towing mirror of this size and shouldn't affect safety once it's correctly fitted.
