Motorhome theft has risen in recent years, which is why Milenco's BC Pedal Lock line was developed as an additional layer of mechanical security alongside a vehicle's factory immobiliser. Metropolitan Police freedom-of-information data collected across 30 UK police forces recorded roughly 500–570 caravan and motorhome thefts a year between 2020 and 2022, and a visible mechanical lock is one of the more effective ways to put an opportunist off before they try.
This version fits 2016-onwards manual Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer and Citroen Relay motorhomes. It works by encasing and locking the brake and clutch pedals, rendering them inoperative — with the pedals locked, the vehicle can't be driven away.
It's one of the few pedal locks on the market that holds both Police Recommended status and Sold Secure Gold approval, meeting one of the toughest security standards set in the UK for this type of device.
The lock has a high-quality protective foam base to prevent scuffing the pedals, and a high-security cylinder that's resistant to drilling and cutting. It fits in seconds with no tools required, and comes with three keys — it's worth noting the key number somewhere safe in case you need a replacement.
This is the manual-transmission version for 2016-onwards Ducato/Boxer/Relay models. Milenco also makes a version for 2007–2015 models, and a separate automatic-transmission version that locks the brake and accelerator instead of the clutch — check which model year and transmission you have before ordering.
