Comparing Different Van Door Locks - Expert Analysis

Within Milenco's Van Door Locks range, the main choices are cab locks versus rear/sliding door locks, and single versus multi-pack kits.

Cab lock vs rear/sliding door lock

The Cab Door Lock is fitted on the inside of the front doors and is designed for that specific location; the Van Door Lock/Deadlock range is built for rear barn doors and side sliding doors. They're not interchangeable — most vans benefit from a mix of both for full coverage.

Single vs twin vs triple

A single lock (such as SKU 3056) covers one door for less than the cost of the triple pack. Twin packs suit vans with two vulnerable doors — say, a rear door and a sliding door — while triple packs are aimed at vans with three doors to secure, or trades and fleets that want every lock on the same key.

Black vs white

Both finishes use the same high-security, anti-bump cylinder and locking mechanism — the choice comes down to matching the lock to your van's colour scheme, since neither offers different security performance in Milenco's own descriptions.
